We all got the single portion of the chicken fried steak. I'm rather picky about such and only get one from Babes when I'm home. But I really liked theirs here. Was tender and had a good flavor. For a single portion it was huge; thick not thin and pounder out like some places do. The sides were good. I shared my potato wedges with my wife and she shared her mashed potatoes with me. We both got beans. Food was good and tasted home made.
I got a side salad from the salad bar. It was small and limited but had what I wanted and it was very clean and items were fresh.
Staff was friendly and really can't complain about anything. Looking forward to a trip back.July 16, 2016
